Player of the Month: JAY BRUCE
First-time winner Jay Bruce, who wasn't even supposed to be with the Mets this year, is April's Player of the Month. He finished 1.87 points ahead of runner-up Michael Conforto.

Pitcher of the Month: JACOB deGROM
With his seventh Pitcher of the Month award, Jacob deGrom moves ahead of Pedro Martinez. Only R.A. Dickey (10) and Johan Santana (9) have won the award more times. Noah Syndergaard finished in second place, 2.01 points behind deGrom.

Reliever of the Month: HANSEL ROBLES
Hansel Robles is the Reliever of the Month for the second time. He earned 6.76 points out of the bullpen in April. Addison Reed, with 5.34, finished second. (See below for a full listing of reliever points.)

Bench Player of the Month: MICHAEL CONFORTO
Michael Conforto is the Bench Player of the Month for the first time. His 1.71 points in games that he didn't start put him narrowly ahead of Asdrubal Cabrera's 1.69 points.

Jay Stadium is an instant classic.

Cespedes has one PotM and Cabrera has none. Both feel surprising.

That is a little strange, isn't it? In fact, Cespedes was Player of the Year in 2016 but didn't win any of that year's POTM awards.
