Please, don't be Kris Benson.
Guest cooby Guests Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 The sad part is having Harvey pitch his first game back from suspension on the road means he still has to get past the home town crowd. They should have just let him pitch in New York and gotten it over with
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Well, if he got the job done against the Brewers, he might've been able to come back home with some authority and some water under the bridge.Does he get the getaway game against the Diamondbacks? Maybe he can aim for redemption then.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Not a terrible idea with the road start except that it's a tough place to pitchand throwing a lemon is just going to make his case worse. Gets another chancein the desert. He has to eventually face the music, it's part of fucking up. pitchinga two hitter through seven and getting a win next game might quiet some at Citi, but I won't/ don't feel sorry for him either way.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Since when should the Mets be concerned that Milwaukee should overpower them? Sure they get paid too, but Harvey wasn't going to beat San Francisco or Philadelphia or Pawtucket with the stuff he showed last night. Add to that it was a sloppy effort overall, which began with him, and even a better-pitched Harvey game might not have been enough.I've had enough of Harvey and his compromising the club. I know you're not supposed to trade mad but I'm mad, and I'm trading him.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Author Posted May 13, 2017 Remember when our biggest worry about Harvey was how quickly he was going to split for the Yanx once he became a FA?

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 I think you're allowed to trade mad if you you wanted to trade him before you were mad.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Harvey might be best served by Smithers or another type of behavioral management care.Baseball is second for the time being anyway.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 I'm more in the change-of-scenery crowd than the Smithers/Betty crowd.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 I dunno, Vegas might be just slightly better option than Tijuana?
