Wait, so the Brazilian model who serially dates professional athletes move on (or back) to another athlete? Shocking. I don't think any of us could have seen this coming.

What the hell Matt. Don't be the douchebag in the crew that actually falls for the stripper. My god.

Yeah, that's Kris Benson's job. Please, don't be Kris Benson.

The sad part is having Harvey pitch his first game back from suspension on the road means he still has to get past the home town crowd.
They should have just let him pitch in New York and gotten it over with

Well, if he got the job done against the Brewers, he might've been able to come back home with some authority and some water under the bridge.

Does he get the getaway game against the Diamondbacks? Maybe he can aim for redemption then.

The brain trust apparently wanted him to avoid facing the wrath of the New York crowd so he was moved to an away game... against a better hitting team.

Not a terrible idea with the road start except that it's a tough place to pitch
and throwing a lemon is just going to make his case worse. Gets another chance
in the desert. He has to eventually face the music, it's part of fucking up. pitching
a two hitter through seven and getting a win next game might quiet some at Citi,
but I won't/ don't feel sorry for him either way.

Since when should the Mets be concerned that Milwaukee should overpower them? Sure they get paid too, but Harvey wasn't going to beat San Francisco or Philadelphia or Pawtucket with the stuff he showed last night. Add to that it was a sloppy effort overall, which began with him, and even a better-pitched Harvey game might not have been enough.

I've had enough of Harvey and his compromising the club. I know you're not supposed to trade mad but I'm mad, and I'm trading him.

Probably pretty much how most of the upper ups feel at this point.

Harvey might be best served by Smithers or another type of behavioral management care.

Baseball is second for the time being anyway.

You think he's that bad off?

I'm more in the change-of-scenery crowd than the Smithers/Betty crowd.

Vegas might be a nice change of scenery for him - he does still have options so would not have to agree to it. pissing off Boras would be a happy side effect

I dunno, Vegas might be just slightly better option than Tijuana?
