Guest 86-Dreamer Guests Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 My apologies if this has been posted already, but Frank Fleming deserves his own thread. That incredible Big Al repost and this rant remind me once again how much I love the Mets, their fans and the little bit of craziness that always surrounds them.http://nypost.com/2017/04/04/ranting-mets-fan-sums-up-everyones-feelings-about-nj-transit-delays/
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 I posted Frank in the IGT, but just zapped it.Wouldn't be shocked if he gets his own show. That is is some downtown boutique-level rage.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Frank is like, five of the many reasons we pay through the butt to live in NYC.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I don't even want to be associated with this guy. Having a tantrum on camera? How, uh, Presidential of him.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 In all fairness, NJ Transit can drive an otherwise sane person absolutely bonkers.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Frank Fleming won’t have to deal with the headache that is NJ Transit for his next Mets game. The fan who went viral on Monday after flipping out over NJ Transit delays on his way to Opening Day will be getting two tickets and a car ride to Friday’s game against the Marlins, courtesy of Excedrin.“Excedrin saw Frank Fleming's opening day headache video and felt his pain," said Scott Yacovino, Senior Brand Manager Excedrin. "We're giving Frank tickets to Friday night's game, a private car and some Excedrin just in case his opening day headache remains. While we can't guarantee a victory, we can guarantee he won't have another headache trying to get there."Fleming, a 41-year-old Mets fan from North Belleville, NJ, was on an NJ Transit train into Penn Station when a derailment forced his train back to Secaucus.http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/mets/mets-fan-angry-nj-transit-car-tix-friday-game-article-1.3019421
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 meh, traffic into Queens from Jersey isn't exactly headache free, even if you're not driving.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Just let this be a lesson to you kids. If you want free tickets and a free ride, put on all your Mets stuff and go nuts on television.
