bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 In case you're wondering who will be on the cover of the Sporting News Baseball Yearbook for 2017 (regional edition), it's Noah: I'm not sure what ballpark that is but it's the same one on all of the covers:https://www.snyearbooks.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=store.covers&catid=1&year=2017#
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 I was going to snicker at 'the bible of baseball' but it's actually pretty accurate.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Maybe several decades ago it was.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 The Baseball America 2017 Almanac will be out January 3.Just sayin'.Later
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 I'm going to miss the retro uniforms.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 That's weird. He's wearing a home uniform in a stadium not his own, he's up against the fence behind homeplate throwing a pitch directly at the face of a patron from point blank range, and he's three times the height of the micro-Gregorius in front of him.Plus, every single seat is filled by a patron. Nobody's off getting a beer or popcorn, or just strolling the concourse.Which park is that, by the way?
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 The SNBY arrived today and it has a major typo as it omits the Mets from the playoffs, claiming that it will be difficult to bounce back from all the injuries of last year. They have the Mets finishing in 2nd place.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 A Mets player taking up 75% of the cover? You gotta love it!
