MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 the latest addition to our household is lefty pitcher Thomas Szapucki.After receiving advice from minor league pitching coach Royce Ring last spring (yes, THAT Royce Ring), Thomas learned to have confidence in his changeup, as well as his fastball and curve and had one of the highest strikeout/ innings ratios in the minors in 2016. http://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.cgi?id=szapuc000thoHe was shut down last season due to back problems that did not require surgery.
