Well, last night we got the bases-loaded 8th inning hit, tonight we didn't.
Tonight the Marlins hit two routine GiDP balls but they were hit by their fastest players and so neither was turned. We hit two non-routine grounders that were turned into DPs because it was Loney & Conforto.

Those weren't the only differences in the game, but they were biggies.

Let's gace it. de Grom is the bummer here. 3rd straight rotten start, and a credit to him they weren't down further when he departed.

Agree 100%. Very concerning. You'll notice deGrom didn't smile at all tonight. He was all business. He looked great in the 1st.
As far as if we lose, I'll take 3 of 4 from any team any time.

Yep, deGrom. We need him so bad. Not necessarily to deGrominate but to go 7 and keep us in games. Of all the blows we have taken this is the only one that makes me feel real gloomy. For the teams sake and even more for the sake of his career.
A few months ago, I guess when Harvey went down, I remember thinking: thank God we have deGrom & Snyderguaard, those two will always be solid. But how many times have we seen pitchers with great expectations go by the wayside.

I'm more than concerned. I'm worried.
