Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I was gonna grumble about De Aza in the lineup much less leading off. But I shall bow to TC's brilliance.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Johnny Lunches - Did you hear all that Uni talk? Interesting stuff.Did you already know about 'Stitches' in Whitestone?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Tim Foli did come to mind immediately. [fimg=300:3epvjeml]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rjmJUso0rwI/Uwl9qkHsPpI/AAAAAAAAM_o/nqiJn5x2Yug/s1600/72ALTtimFOLI%2528OPC%2529-z14.png[/fimg:3epvjeml]
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 UGH, horrible news about Story. Damn.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Booth applauding the strike-out pitch to Conforto as tricky or something. Itwasn't a strike the minute it left Binaca's hand and Conforto looked foolish.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 BTW, this is Wesley's very first game.[fimg=500:1ga7jiw8]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Co5OqfEWIAA25TF.jpg:large[/fimg:1ga7jiw8]

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 d'Arnaud is the dreamiest.Well, DE AZA is the dreamiest, then d'Arnaud.

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 THIS is why National League baseball rules! Fuck the DH!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I happened to have M-Kay on in the garage and as soon as he said Tanaka had only given up 4 hits we ripped 4. And Tanaka's outta there!themetfairy wrote:THIS is why National League baseball rules! Fuck the DH!And fuck Ichiro!
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Jay Bruce must have intangibles. Like Jeter, he makes everyone else better.
Guest cooby Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Aaah! Get those earphones off that little baby child!
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 And fuck Ichiro!I second that motion!Aaah! Get those earphones off that little baby child!I'd leave them on. The 7 Line can be really loud!
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Sweetie - they're noise mufflers not headphones. They're protecting the kids ears, not hurting them,

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 That might have the best inning all year.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Yup, that was fun!Can they hold the lead!?!
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Jon Niese is hardly my favorite Met. But it's insulting bringing him in with a 7-run lead. That's an Antonio Bastardo situation.Niese is better than that.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) I disagree, he's got a job to do and it's a good time to just throw him in. Edited August 2, 2016 by Guest

Interesting stuff to see or just a like a storefront? Its a rickety old-fashioned small factory, like a big garage, boxes all over the place. Its a full service embroidery place and Mets/sports gear just a tiny piece. There is a big room for screen printing and embroidery machines and a small room where ladies work at sewing machines.
Guest cooby Guests Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I know I am prolly the only one here that has ever shot a gun and believe me those earmuffs hurt
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Nah, I once shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.
