Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 The real story is Colin Rea. In between Men at Work reunion tours. Colin was pitching for San Diego. But Colin got traded, because he's a Padre, and it's the law. But it was one of those seven-player deals (the Andrew Cashner deal) that, once the eggs are scrambled, they cannot be unscrambled. So, the Padres' trade partners, the Marlins, IMMEDIATELY tried to un-scramble the eggs. Well not so immediately. Rea took the hell for the Fishies, threw 3 1/3 innings of one-hit, shutout ball, and left the game with an elbow injury.[fimg=450]http://a.fssta.com/content/dam/fsdigital/RSN/Florida/2016/7/30/073016-fsf-mlb-miami-marlins-rea-PI.vadapt.664.high.37.jpg[/fimg]Are you effing kidding me?[fimg=450]http://cdn.sandiegouniontrib.com/img/photos/2016/07/31/0cd6f82da1f64601a186753686b9368a_r900x493.JPEG?122770e84b36f1c039d5c4c2ca15c2d8bc4ecd52[/fimg]How about you back off, Donnie Baseball? Weren't you injured for, like five years straight? Then the Marlins ("absolutely livid" according to Jeff Passan) returned Rea to the Padres pretty much before the game was over, getting one of the pieces they sent over in the package — class A righty Luis Castillo. Because if your name is "Luis Castillo," the Marlins are a destiny that you just can't shake.
