Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Even so, Harvey can't be giving up 11 hits in 3 2/3 innings. You can't give up an RBI hit to a pitcher who's 1 for 25.Just terrible stuff.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 And so typical. Full of false bravado masking self pity. (Ok that may be me projecting.)
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 2nd inning with two outs - two runners on3rd inning with two outs - bases loaded4th inning with two outs - bases emptyGuess when the HR showed up?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 It's something.Among other things, it's d'Arnaud breaking the seal finally on 2016.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Nimmo had a chance to crush Hechy's leg there and didn't.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Johnson, you tried too hard there.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Inning 6 -- Bases Loaded / No one Out: Infield Grounder (scored a hit, should have been an FC) - Infield Grounder (GiDP) - Infield Bouncer (inning over)That they actually were able to get two runs out of it was as much luck as anything. You wouldn't think an entire group could TRY to be that pathetic and be able to pull it off as regularly as this team has this year.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 This is a 'woulda, shoulda, coulda' game.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) So I reckon we're going to see first Rodney in the 8th and then Ramos.oe: Oh yeah, forgot we were still only in the 7th (see below). Perhaps the singing should have been a clue. Edited July 4, 2016 by Guest
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Well, they do have nine more outs before we stick a fork in it.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Yeah, let's put it well beyond the reach of Ramos.
Guest cooby Guests Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Oh come on. Seventh inning! They can do it!

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Yeah it was the best of both worlds from Nimmo. And now the tying runs are on. I'd've sent Walker, I think. The left fielder had to run a long way.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Loney executed.I tend to prefer to put my marker on the the fates of base running rather than on batters executing. But Loney made me look bad there.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Smoly Smokes. Intentional pass to pitch to Mr. Six Hits with the go-ahead run on base trailing the tying run on third.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 We need someone here to say 'Good Evening' to Mr. Phelps.Pitching coach Juan Nieves out to chat. You're a bastard Juan Nieves!!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Hey, young Bob Ross is at the game.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Niiiiice. Small ball to tie it. This is what we need to do. Mix it up.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 I hear all this about 'professional ABs' that Gary & Ron are talking about, and I know it might seem a bit picky to complain after tying up a game they once trailed by 6-0, but an actual hit with runners in scoring position might be nice every once in a while.4 of the 6 runs have scored via outs or should-have-been outs and Flores's Sac Fly was the first time they got a ball out of the infield with RiSP despite having runners all over the place today.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 As big as any of the six hits yesterday.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 They're really committed to bunting with a guy who is seven for his last seven.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 I know it's a paycheck, but Mattingly looks like a Fish outof water in the Marlins dugout.
