Guest themetfairy Guests Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 The only real memory has to be his MLB debut - that rough 2/3 of an inning against Toronto. But he's young. Hopefully he won't develop into the next great thing for Atlanta.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 His name sounds like a body part. My only memory
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Only Mac Scarce (infinity) and Garrett Olson (108.00) had a worse career ERA as a Met than Morris (67.50).
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Only Met in history with a career ERA higher than his uni number (64), I think.Edit: See above, nope...

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 You're right... I was going by memory. He has zero innings pitched, which technically prevents him from having an ERA, but it's not actually infinite, because he didn't give up any runs.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Dude has a National League Championship ring. Everybody who played last year got one, even Eric O'Flaherty (and to be the "even" example over Akeel Morris, you had to be pretty bleeping bad).
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 every time i hear his name, i think of Howard Morris, from the Sid Ceasar show, numerous Mel Brooks movies, and Ernest T. Bass from the Andy Griffith Show. So that was nice. i think i'll miss that. where are you Howard?
