Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Don't get me started. Every year, folks climb all over each other to write me off. Every strikeout with runners on base isn't a failure in the moment, but a testament to what I've become. But I'm not bitter. Maybe I'm not who I was. I don't know. But who I was and who I is are so tied up in myth, it's hard to get a handle on either. Every day, I'm still grinding. But, you know what, this thread is where we get a handle on all of it. The all star highs. The stenosis lows. The captaincy. The performances with Team USA. The Jeteriness. The pants of sugar. (Yeah, I hear that stuff.) The gold gloves. The throwing problems. It's all in the soup, and it's for you to say how that soup is going to taste before it all goes down.[fimg=335:1orjc4uq]http://acesincbaseball.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/david-wright.jpeg[/fimg:1orjc4uq] [fimg=208:1orjc4uq]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/54/David_Wright_at_CitiField.jpg[/fimg:1orjc4uq] [fimg=257:1orjc4uq]http://mets.lohudblogs.com/files/2012/11/Mets-Marlins-Baseball_Megd4.jpg[/fimg:1orjc4uq][fimg=290:1orjc4uq]http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.2055980.1419452174!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/article_635/wrightweb25s-1-web.jpg[/fimg:1orjc4uq] [fimg=189:1orjc4uq]http://media.jrn.com/images/nlcs_mets_cubs_baseball_jpeg-0_25707158_ver1.0_640_480.jpg[/fimg:1orjc4uq] [fimg=321:1orjc4uq]http://i.epochtimes.com/assets/uploads/2005/08/5082554071468.jpg[/fimg:1orjc4uq][fimg=143:1orjc4uq]http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2012/1127/ny_u_wrightd21_cr_200.jpg[/fimg:1orjc4uq] [fimg=444:1orjc4uq]http://dailystache.net/wp-content/uploads/051812-MLB-David-Wright-PI_20120518135300150_660_320.jpg[/fimg:1orjc4uq] [fimg=213:1orjc4uq]https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-najoAO65lew/S6rP9h1DxeI/AAAAAAAAIrc/HNnLf0-4qTI/s300/CaptainDavidWright.jpg[/fimg:1orjc4uq]

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 My expectations are down a peg but higher than if you asked this question 3 weeks ago. It's odd that his throwing seems to be an issue now but hitting not so much. I can live with that for now on the condition neither gets much worse.22-70 .270/.345/.410

I think both Terry and David will are probably going to push it a little harder than early-season average when it's crunchtime.
