Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Hi, I'm Neil Walker, born and bred in Pittsburgh and a career-long Buccaroo. Bet you didn't think I was this good.Well, I'm sort of a big deal. One of those secondbasey guys who does it all consistently, despite having no particular stat or tool that'll pop your eyes out. I'm Bill Doran. I'm Frank White. I'm Glenn Hubbard. I'm Mark Grudzielanek.Maybe I'm none of those guys, but I think I'm pretty good, and I think you're starting to think so too. But I can't speak for you. You need to speak for yourself.[fimg=503:1ksf6dte]http://image.nj.com/home/njo-media/width620/img/mets_main/photo/20180798-mmmain.jpg[/fimg:1ksf6dte] [fimg=297:1ksf6dte]http://cdn.newsday.com/polopoly_fs/1.11232242.1454104432!/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/display_600/image.jpg[/fimg:1ksf6dte][fimg=372:1ksf6dte]http://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/6ec45bcbb3a55aeca2a80598fbca6e9a21a6df02/c=36-0-3417-2542&r=x404&c=534x401/local/-/media/2016/03/15/USATODAY/USATODAY/635936774108034476-USATSI-9140556.jpg[/fimg:1ksf6dte] [fimg=428:1ksf6dte]http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.2552103.1457041455!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/article_635/mets-spring-baseball.jpg[/fimg:1ksf6dte]
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 He's good, but he's not THIS good. But 20/80/.280 with competent fielding will be more than enough to put Danny Boy behind us.

I actually think he's a candidate to be flipped at the deadline, and this early work suggests it could possibly be lucrative. Would require Dilson to be pounding at the door, needs arising elsewhere, etc., but a strong possibility for an emotionless front-office. So I'll predict 12-55- .270/.315/.440 thru July or 20-89 .265/.310/.425 for the year.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I'm glad this thread went up late because I would have said he'llsuck ass hairs but so far just wow.I suppose water will seek it's level and he'll be what he's been in 2016 for Los Metsies. Is this the last guy? Ooops, forgot we have at least Wheeler to come.

Guest cooby classic Guests Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Suck asshairs is my new favorite expression.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 His year end numbers will look like the others on the back of his baseball card, maybe with a slight park or divisional adjustment. .280-17-78.Later
