Well, Dick, here's the deal: I'm the best there is, plain and simple. I mean, I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence. And NOBODY can hang with my stuff. Uhhh... you know, I'm just a big, hairy American winning machine. If you ain't first, you're last. You know? Know what I'm talkin' 'bout?

Sometimes, of course, I should've pissed a little more excellence the night before. The key to this season. Pissing more, but maintaining the excellence. What do you think?

Second-best record on the Mets in 2016. Terrific year and I think
he'll finally figure out how to keep his lightening rod out of the spot
light.

(more hoping than thinking, but change can happen)

We discover he has a bionic eye and he pitches like the robot in that Twilight Zone and we all rejoice.

17-7, 2.77 ERA, 1.19 WHIP.
And enough time on the DL (nothing serious) to keep him from the Cy Young Award.

Speaking of which, those two portraits above — one in his uni and one in a mesh vest and undershirt ?!) — have led me to a new discovery: Harvey's eyes are two different sizes.

Yes he has one of those half-closed left eyes. Future member of the Pirates I think.

When we were speculating on Harv's mystery ailment Wifey Bucket guessed "he's messed up in the head" and although she was not correct, I think she might have been. This guy is 250 pounds of crazy in a 220-pound sack and would expect an increasing mix of brilliant and brilliantly baffling this year.

15-9, 3.31, 30 starts, 200 IP, 210 K, 45 BB

2.55 ERA, 5.9 fWAR. 220.1 IP, 9.11 K/9, 1.50 BB/9

35 starts.

All Star but not the starter.

34 Cy Young points.

Pitches the clincher again but none of the clinching playoff games.

Linked to four different women that he'll be said to be dating.

more wins than page 6 mentions, but it'll be close.
