Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Hembree vs Syndergaard, 1:10 PM, SNY/MLBN
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I'm all for experimenting in Spring Training and for learning a new position but Yo won a Gold Glove (value: unclear but it's something) for his play in LF and Lagares won a GG for his play in CF. Today is the 2d game of the last 3 (Friday) where the two are starting in the opposite position. I can see why Yo is playing CF (because he will do so during the season when Conforto is in LF) but I'm not sure why Lagares is playing LF. Would Terry do this during the season or is it simply that Yo needs work in CF and it's Lagares's day to play so LF is open?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Three walks in the second inning for Hembree. Bases juice and two outs for Reynolds...
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Groundout to second. Very close play, but no replays in spring training.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Who is in the SNY booth with Duquette?

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Hah, the big mook behind home plate that had a Yankee shirt onjust sat down in a Mets shirt.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Chris Young lays the sort of big tag on a lefty that he was meant to do as a Met.Lead goes.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Syndergaard looked pretty dominant early today and got himself out of a couple of jams. There were a couple of times he walked off the mound after throwing what he thought would be a called third strike only to have the pitch called a ball by the ump. Seems like his confidence level is high.Walker hasn't been overly impressive at the plate this spring, but the defensive upgrade at second base is very noticeable.I'm also dubious of switching up Cespedes and Lagares defensively...but Terry's managerial capital is at an all time high with me right now. I'm hoping it's just an experiment.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 In a post game interview seen on SNY last night, Noah said he will be going to the barber for a trim. He said his hair is so long it has been (I paraphrase) blowing toward his face and bothering him when he pitches.Later
