Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 We all give the Mets a good ribbing here and often for good reasons, but I would be remiss not to acknowledge they do some good too.Last week as part of Lunchpail's after school program run by the local YMCA, he and bunch of his buds received a voucher for a free bicycle, courtesy of Bloomberg, the Mets and Bike New York.Although I think this was intended for needier families we couldn't object, and will donate his current bike (gently used, but too small for him now anyway). The bike is pretty fresh! We picked it up yesterday. Its a department-store type model and retails new for something like 200 Quintanillas. They also threw in a new helmet.
Guest cooby classic Guests Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 wow that is a nice looking bike!
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 This is really cool. But now I see it and think lil' Lunchpail is riding around on our cleanup hitter.
