Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Well, I imagine he's going to bat this inning.A pitcher gets his third at-bat by the top of the seventh, you'd figure the team had plated at least a few. But nope, one run on a solo homer.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Still no 1-2-3 innings tonight. And still no runners brought around.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 We get leadoff guys on in virtually every inning for two nights running and wind up with jack. They start with two out and none on and still manage to put up a crooked number.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Right here, BUNT. We need baserunners. Fucking bunt if they are going to overshift.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Still 567. Cuddyer was the second batter of the inning, not the leadoff batter.I am still unhappy about Lucas' failure to bunt. That is the exact situation where he NEEDS to bunt for a hit. He's a professional, he can get the bunt down and if not, he needs to practice until he can.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Danny Muno: pretty much the textbook definition of "just a guy."
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 A submarining sinker closer is not ideal with a super-fast infield.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 CI at this point? Yeesh.Either way, this is kinda The Wellington Castillo Game, innit?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) Fuckin' Pathetic!!10 hits plus 2 walks plus a catcher's interference and nothing produced a run except for the HR which, of course, came with the bases empty. Edited June 6, 2015 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Could have used a second lefty pinch-hitter.Also could have perhaps gone with Flores and his love affair with the low pitch.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Probably opted for Mayberry so as to stay out of the double play.Ooooops.
