Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Mets leading the league in costly wins.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Think we'll see Kevin Plawecki?
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I think we have to. I like Recker and Eric Campbell but we can't be running both of those guys out every day and expect to win that often.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I swear it was 7-1 when I went out to do some yard work.Did something happen to Harvey?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Tying run on 2nd. One out. Nice play Soupy. 2 out. Stanton.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Stanton is more in scoring position at home than at first.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 That's two. Walk Stanton?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 That was tough. It stayed down on Campy. Two injuries, man.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Gnome of Victory and Celebration calls this a bittersweet win.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Gary's right. We won 8 in a row, set historical Met records, but this is a horrible day.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 ohToday Bill is joined by his Mexican cousin, Guillermo Broomo.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 So Harvey was feeling sick before the game? I didn't hear that until the postgame w/TC.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 WORST. SWEEP. EVER.We should just select the guys who are off to a hot start, line 'em up, then whack each upside the head in order to give them a three week break. That way would save a lot of time and energy.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I betcha Guillermo Broomo can tell some entertaining stories.

Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I watched the Red Sox suck at Fenway today, but it was nice to see this.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Damn, it is nice to see the Mets winning and in first place. Can't keep losing bodies in the process. The war of attrition is really tearing a good team apart. Hopefully, the the team can keep it together until Wright and (hopefully) Parnell get back.
