ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I know Muffy is behind and such but did not realize his chances of landing on the DL are real.Would Flores be 2B and Tejada SS for the time being? I am sensing Dilson Herrera is not the answer.http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/players/playerpage/1208667/daniel-murphy
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 They've stated outright that they have no intention of floating Flores back and forth. I would, but I guess I understand that thinking.Dilson is already farmed out. If he can't answer the bell, his roster spot is for grabs between Reynolds and Muno, and his opening day start could go to either one of them or Tejada or Campbell. Campbell hasn't been used at second in a game at all this spring, so it's more realistically down to the other three.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Makes sense. I wouldn't mind seeing Danny Muno if only for a week or two. He intrigues me.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Nope. Shouldn't mess with Flores either. I like Muno but given a choice I'd want to see more of Reynolds. I've been impressed with that guy.
