Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Man, not a lot of predictions or predilections for Zack Thornton. How about me? Nobody's been thinking much about me, but I've had a bullpen spot pretty much sewn up before even arriving in camp. Folks call me The Long Man. And that's who I am.[fimg=500:1t1xfyph]http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.1407239!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/article_970/metsrun24s-3-web.jpg[/fimg:1t1xfyph]That's me right there. I bring it grim and I bring it pissy. But that's the sort of attitude that gave you smelts a 3.06 ERA over 97 innings. What do you think you'll squeeze out of me this year?

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Carlos has a good feeling about this season.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Longtime courtwatchers consider him the swing vote that could determine the fate of the Affordable Care Act...Oh, sorry. It only seems like Carlos Torres has a lifetime appointment to the middle relief role.I predict he will be fair and judicious.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) He'll again be the glue that holds the staff together, performing in the middle, setup and (occasionally) closer roles and giving them a spot start if needed. When TC asks "Whose arm is ready?" Carlos will raise his.And do a good job in any role Terry gives him. 90-115 IP, 3.25 ERA, 1.22 WHIPLater Edited March 19, 2015 by Guest
