Is there anything being these new faces on the broadcast team other than simply giving the A-listers some time off before the games get real?

Gary does a lot of college hoops in the off-season so he's probably busy this weekend while Keith & Ron probably decided that they have better things to do.
Besides, the subs, I'm sure, are cheaper.

Duquette is already in their employ and subs in on radio - we may hear him a lot if the Ice-landers go deep in the playoffs. Not sure what the backstory is on the other guy.

This game has already featured a Tyler Pill and a Taylor Hill (not to mention a Rich Hill).
I predict that by the middle of the 2016 season 30% of the league will be named either Tyler or Taylor (or Jordan).

The Nats got a jump on everyone when they had a Taylor Jordan pitch for them last year. I hear now that they're actively looking for a hurler named Jordan Taylor - preferably a lefty who they can match-up with Taylor Jordan.

Was afraid of that, after his last outing. Are they worried?

Apparently, Wheeler has had elbow issues throughout his entire pro career. And the symptoms appear to be worsening. But in the Bizarro World of the Mets, this revelation means that there's nothing to worry about.

Although Zack Wheeler has been scratched from Saturday's Grapefruit League start against the Washington Nationals with elbow tendinitis and a blister underneath his right index fingernail, the right-hander expressed no alarm.

Wheeler noted that he managed pain in the elbow throughout last season and during much of his professional career, in part through the use of anti-inflammatory medication. Wheeler indicated he has never received a cortisone shot in the elbow, however, contradicting what Sandy Alderson on Friday believed to be the case.

"It's just a little sore. I'm just going day to day," Wheeler said. "It's something that I've had before and have had to deal with. It maybe sort of picked up last year, but I've had it my whole career. I've just been able to deal with it and stuff. Like I said, I'm just going day to day with it."

We also got through a game against the Nats with out a Tyler Moore appearance.

I have no doubt the Braves will dress a player named Taylor Tyler Jordan this year or next.

His brother Cody is a year or two behind.
