Edgy MD Site Manager Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 A non-roster invitee in on a minor league contract, Alex Castellanos is the great hope for all Mets fan clubs ensconced within Cubano societies and expatriate Cubano societies ensconced within Mets fan clubs. A 28 year old with a coupla cuppas with the Dodgers behind him, his biggest claim to fame so far is being traded for Rafael Furcal.Signed the day after Michael Cuddyer. Like Cuddy, he brings some versatility to the table, with experience at second and third. But will he make it to the table at all? That's for you to decide. What do you predict Alex Castellanos will provide for the Mets in 2015?
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Will write some decent speeches for Jeb Bush..wait, not this guy?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_CastellanosA 28 year old guy who's barely sniffed the majors and hasn't really destroyed the Pacific Coast League?I'll wager he gets about 27 AB midsummer.7 hits, 1 HR, 1 2B, 4 walks.
