Starting at 2PM today, MLBN is running retrospectives on the 1969 season, and then separate ones on the 1986 LCSs and World Series.
So if the Jets & Giants just ain't cutting it for you this year ...

I watched the last two hours of this. I was amazed to find out I'd forgotten more than I remembered about '86.

They tried to spin some shit with McNamara and his comments and that made it more interesting, but the business about the Clemens blister was dragged out to the max. Mook, of course, was genuine and great, as always. Hurst and Shiraldi were a pleasant surprise, both class acts who seemed to give a very honest perspective.

This was very enjoyable to watch.
