ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Haven't seen a number but David's HR looked like one of the longest of his career..
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Great game. Double figure in hits again. Wheeler looking good. Two monster homers. The one from Wright was especially nice to see.Hey Travis--watch the Wright post game interview. That's how a full grown MLB player talks.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 11, 2014 Author Posted July 11, 2014 A shot going into the postgame showed an all-business David Wright going down the gamut of his teammates, high-fiving them with his glove hand with intense seriousness. All in super slow-mo. And then, when he got to deGrom, his eyes lit up, his face broke into this free, glowing smile, and as he high-fived with his glove, his bare hand tenderly caressed Jacob's hair.It was just guys doing their stupid homogoofing that guys do, but in super slow mo, it was fantabulous.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Loved Gary's lack-of-K's lately stat.Swinging more and earlier = lack of swinging and missing ... what a concept!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Bonus IGT as we go to BaltimoreO's get a leadoff double (Machado) in the 10th, Buck then decides to bunt the runner over to 3rd but his guy Ks, ... AND THEY GET THE GAME-WINNING HIT ANYWAYO's 3 - Yanx 2shouldn't have bunted Buck, but you got the win despite yourself.

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 The box score shows that Lagares got three hits and an RBI. What did he do that has someone writing him off?Later
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 The clip Edgy mentioned (gotta click since it's not YouTube, which probably violates some MLB rule or something)only seems like regular slow-mo, not super slow-mohttps://plus.google.com/photos/108298182040954132162/albums/6011505776202668001/6035133243527553618?banner=pwa&pid=6035133243527553618&oid=108298182040954132162fear not though, I then recorded it at 120fps (he gets to deGrom at :32, just after Harvey, who clearly deserves high fives for this onehttps://plus.google.com/photos/108298182040954132162/albums/6011505776202668001/6035133244581964242?banner=pwa&pid=6035133244581964242&oid=108298182040954132162
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 The funniest part of that super-duper-slo-mo is leaving Harvey hanging there like a dope before he ever gets to deGrom.
