They shouldn't have let Rizzo hit there.
This series is sucking the life out of me.

That didn't last long. I told ya to keep Rizzo down boys. Didn't mean downtown.

They will mug you. Apparently.

Black didn't leave it up, either-- he golfed it.

Say what you will about Dopey Terry's lineup choices, but, well, Chris Young has been on base three times tonight.

A little more than some warning-track power here
from Wright would be really nice.

We're going to be fucking swept by the fucking Cubs.

Y'know, I was just about to say that this game has the feel of one where we give up two insurance runs and then score twice in the 9th to fall just short (with the go-ahead runners left on base of course).
Well, we fulfilled the first half of that prediction.

Pretty sad.

We are conditioned for this. Campy does not agree.

It has to be said. Recker got the tag down and d'Aranud did not, and that has made all the difference.

Not remotely close to the same play.

And right on cue, Gary says, "the Cubs have not
swept a series all year."

It seems like whenever we come off a great series, we come crashing down right away. I don't want to hear things like "the Phillies series took a lot out of them." That's crap. They gave these Cubs games away.

This is quite the test here.

What the hell does that mean? The series sucked. If it
was a test ... they failed miserably.

Yea, this "tired" business. Was it Gary who touched on it?
I've seen a lot of tired and sorry Met teams but I don't remember any of em going around telling everyone how tired they are. That's a bunchAbullshit.
