I never thought I'd wish the NL had the DH.

Who are you and what have you done with that great National League fan who makes all those fantastic cards?

I take offense that the quote is displayed in normal size. I said that very small.

Heretical whispers must be amplified so as to shame the whisperer of impure thoughts.

No DH, dude. Seriously.

I missed that barrage in the first, but I tune in for the six-pitch second.

They have two more games to play these guys. They'll be thanking ourselves for the next two days if they chase this pretender early and get deep into the pen.

I just saw a shot of the Yankee bench and there's a guy there who looks like Carlos Beltran. Sort of a bald version of Carlos.

Does anybody know who this guy is?

Just KINDA got a swing-and-miss to fan Gardner.

Scouting report on Wheeler: let him wear himself out.

He's really pissing me off. What a momentum sucker. I'd send him to Binghamton if I could only have him back next start. Nothing makes me so mad.

Guy in the Yankee booth just expressed surprise at Wright's 900th RBI.

"Really? Sorta under the radar with that. Certainly the face of the franchise but really in the middle of a solid career."

You're the last guy to know?

to play two innings!

That's a lot of pitches for Wheeler man. This is going to be a looong (possibly torturous) evening.

Yep-need to plate these runs Laggy.

Nuno really is something south of good. In terms of stuff, he's a little Misch-y, on a bad Misch day.

Especially too many that get by him after hitting his glove!

Imagine if the MFYs didn't suck. We'd be down by a touchdown the way Wheeler is going.
