Yeah, I said it! The Mets prepare to use their newfound military might against the Cardinals yet again!

Off to Citi. Hope this is better than the last time I saw Wainwright in Flushing. (I may be lying, I might have seen him pitch since 2006 and don't remember)

Pinstripes over military might any day for me.

Can't blame him, he drank the Cardinal-way kool-aid.

Not altogether terrible-- if somewhat belated-- damage control by Mr. Gee.

A play like Jon Jay made on d'Arnaud to prevent the DP on the 5-2 putout-- blind side play made with intent of taking catcher out-- kinda makes me wish there was something like a yellow card in baseball.

Taking out the guy turning the DP is part of the game. They can outlaw it, but until they do, most other players would have done the same, and some would have come in higher.

Striking out Grandy was like taking the baby's candy there.

Not for me to judge when making a Cardinal-way joke.

Really, though, virtually all major leaguers make plays more often than not, strictly speaking.

Big-boy chance for d'Arnaud squandered right there.

The booth seemed sure it was a rob job, but to me it looked a little short.

I feel like we're all disagreeing with each other tonight,
but I disagree and it was out.

I feel like the top of the eighth should have been over
five minutes ago and now it's bases loaded.
