Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Yeah, you gotta remember that the whole idea of MLB's 'Advanced Media' stuff (MLB.com, MLB.tv, Extra-Innings' etc.) is that to protect the local teams and their TV contracts, the alternatives are there to be a supplement to, but never a replacement for, local programming. So if you're in the NYC area and you want to watch the Mets & Yanx you're going to do it through SNY & YES or you're not going to watch them at all.
