The only guy to homer in 45 or more major-league ballparks?

Jim Thome?

38. Somewhat surprisingly, not even top-5.

My first hunch was Barry Bonds. But as I began to type his name into the post, I realized that the answer would likely be someone from the '90s and '00s who played in both leagues. So if not Thome, then how about Sosa?

Ding, ding. Jacobs/Progressive Field in Cleveland being the last one entered in the ledger, on April 26 of '07.

Griffey's just behind at 44, with the Crime Dog (43), Ellis Burks (!) (41) and Mike Piazza/Gary Sheffield (40) rounding out the top 5.

Only players to hit back-to-back inside-the-park home runs?

Pierre and Castillo are a pretty good gamble, but you may want to play your money elsewhere, if you're looking to make enough to leave your kids some or buy some cocaine or something.

I think I remember who it happened against, the team that did it, and one of the batters, but for the life of me I don't know the other guy.

Bump Wills and ____________, for the Rangers against the Yankees in the late 70s.

I'll go with the hint, and say the other guy was Oscar Gamble.

Solo made it part of the way there, only to come up a little short.
