Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Win or lose, take us out Ashie. I think everyone will agree if I ask if you can close the season, bi-pass the tradition of winning, as the Mets have these last years. Three games left in 2013. Would you do us the honor?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 MLB.TV is giving away all games for free today. That's pretty kool.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Not a good start. Shit, I missed all this.3-0 Brewers, dunno how yet.

Would you do us the honor?Sure...Duda batting second...I can't find anything on the interweb about Nieuwenhuis...Don't know if he is in the dugout or gone home...Trying to enjoy the last three cause there aint no more for awhile.UH OH SANDY ALDERSON COMING ON NEXT GAK!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 Sandy..Citifield was constructed by an MFY fan..
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 Sandy looked tired which I understand..He talked about a line on his whiteboard where he puts players above or below.Starters above..3...He only named Niese and GeeDidn't say much about position players beyond maybe getting catching for D'Arnaud insurance..He mostly talked about three straight years of losing at home and trying to see if there are issues......
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 I have missed most of this game. Saw Sandy talking earlier but couldn't listen. I'll have to play that back later. Turner scored in the 2nd? Kool. Wanna see that 1st inning too. A balk as well?Sandy say anything Interesting? Or did they just breeze thru the usual talking points.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 The Cholula ad is looking more phallic than usual.(That's me talking, not Keith.)
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Cholula, el Schlitz de hot sauce.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Boiled down, he has no big league future.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 Keith was on the fence for sure....
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 replaying some o0f this game now. I missed the very end too.The at bat by Lagares with the bases loaded. You can't strike out there. On a shit pitch. The stuff Alderson said was the usual. He was very eloquent. He will make a great commissioner. It's what he didn't say I found interesting. To say I have X amount of players over the white line and not name them all is most interesting. The Piazza stuff was great. What Mike said was deep and revealing, adds a new dimension to him for me. That's gonna be a great interview.
