Guess I'm on a roll so let's roll with it ....

I'm getting the Mets feed.

Wheeler, Petit, Seinfeld, and insane over-analysis of the Harvey news. I'm going to enjoy this one, I think.

That was a very nice catch. That kid can follow any ball anywhere. There was some spin on that.

Seinfeld on the Mets' broadcasters: "When the Yankee fans talk, we can talk about you guys."

Yankee fans talk shit to Seinfeld?

If you squint, you may be able to picture there being a Yankee fan or two who feels pretty self-confident among the people with whom the Seinfelds eat brunch, right?

Not to put a fine point on it, JerryFromQueens asks,"Is Ike Davis going to put his head back together, or isn't he?"

The booth shrugs, collectively, as EY fouls off Petit fastballs.

Discussing baseball beards/clubhouse tonsorial matters ("Petit, now that's a sharp one, there.")... it seems a little strange nobody brought up Rey S., doesn't it?

And, hey, two walks to start the Met fourth.

Right? I didn't expect to be enjoying him so much.

And now another bad read by MdD--he couldn't possibly think Flores was running there and the throw was low enough to be cut anyway--but we get out of it again.

Nice to turn a 3-1 defecit into a 4-3 lead while running the bases with the instincts of a brood of Steve Lyons.

And with a starter I was sure was on his way out of the game three innings ago.

gah. Wheeler makes Doodoo look like doodoo!
That was a nice stop. Had time to get him if Zack was there.

Josh Satin is so slow, his offseason running-program partner was a glacier, until the glacier decided it wasn't being challenged enough.

Josh Satin is so slow, in the time it takes him to showboat after a home run, you could put on an actual production of "Show Boat."

Josh Satin is so slow, it takes him an hour to make minute changes to his batting stance that shouldn't take him nearly an hour to implement.

What I'm saying is, Josh Satin could be faster, and that would have helped on that last Met scoring opportunity.

The three Mets to be named All-Stars in the '80s and '90s.

Bonilla? Straw? Cone?

Sounds reasonable.
I think the booth misses Jerry.

Fortunately he was ignored.

Tuefel almost got in Muffys way! Wtf was that? And that was a bad call by Tim. I've missed big portions of this telecast and I didn't want to with Jerry on.

Well if you want to hold a runner up it's good to get right in the path so he'll be more likely to see you.
The problem is, once Muffy decided to keep running, Timmy suddenly had to bail.
