At the break, some movement at hand:

1. Wright 46
T2. Davis 30
T2. Duda 30
4. Murphy 17
5. Pagan 15
6. Beltran 14
T7. Hairston 13
T7. Reyes 13
9. Bay 10
10. Francoeur 9
11. Nieuwenhuis 8
T12. Byrd 7
T12. Valdespin 7
T14. C. Young 6
T14. Granderson 6
T14. Buck 6
T14. Tatis 6
T18. Recker 5
T18. Turner 5
T18. Barajas 5
T18. Sheffield 5
T22. dArnaud 4
T22. Brown 4

One more homer at Citi Field pushes Lucas Duda into sole possession of second place.

Kirk Nieuwenhuis one homer from taking a share of tenth place.

Chris Young and/or Curtis Granderson theoretically threaten to crowd out Jason Bay and, at last, Jeff Francoeur, depending on what Nieuwy does.

Other actives and semi-actives: Juan Lagares 2; Taylor Teagarden 1; Eric Campbell 1; Bobby Abreu 1; Eric Young 1; Omar Quintanilla 1; Jeremy Hefner 1.

The Top 10 Citi Field HR leaders, 4/13/09 - 7/30/14:

Wright 46
Duda 31

Davis 30
Murphy 18
Pagan 15
Beltran 14
Hairston 13
Reyes 13
Bay 10
Francoeur 9

Jeff Francoeur presumably paying off somebody to keep Kirk Nieuwenhuis (8) down on the farm.

Actually, Chase Utley is tied with Frenchy for 10th place with 9; Ryan Howard has 8.

7/30/14 fwiw.

Wonder if Duda ever passes Wright.

Thanks. Must've been dizzy from the nine-run victory.

Or as many as the respective likes of Jeremy Hefner, Val Pascucci and Limpin' Luis Hernandez...though none of theirs was quite as electrifying.

That shark was high, too. Tough pitch to hit.

Heck, he stood there and admired it. Where's the DB Braves catcher to get in his face to tell him the right way to play? He's gonna get a sand shark headed righted for his noggin in his next at-bat. Unless Shawn Estes is pitching, which means a slow-moving shark in the general direction of his butt with Bobby V fuming in the dugout.

A six-way tie for 14th place was forged during the just-completed homestand among Anthony Recker, Travis d'Arnaud, Curtis Granderson, Chris Young, John Buck and Fernando Tatis, all of whom have hit 6 home runs as Mets at Citi Field.

Marlon Byrd has 7 as a Met, 8 overall, after his home run in the wrong uniform Saturday night.
