He's quite quite, this Pennington, is he not?

Tit for tat as Buck lines out to a diving shortstop. That was a nice play by Buck last inning.
Are two runs gonna be enough? Can the pen continue to be as good as they've been? Wheeler up to 93 pitches.

Posted

Wheeler not showing anything flashy but always able to get out of possible jams with relative ease.

Caught that. Very kool.

Jeez, what'd I miss?

Gary gave a shout out to G on the air.

What does that mean? That apropos of nothing, Gary suddenly shouted out Prince's name Lloyd Lindsay Young style?

Maybe. Still, I'd rather they give up a million potential bleeders than a half-million walks.

Man, his own team must think Pennington sucks bad. And look, he does! Rice Ks him (after much work).

Maybe Pennington's not quite that quite.

In general, I agree.

Oh, here comes a walk.

Pitched around Pollock there like he was Fatty Toro.

OE: And I guess it ended up working.

Ol' Laggy just keeps on forcing his way into our hearts, don't he?

(And as I type that, Eaton in center does a Lagares-quality job tracking down Murph's laser to center.)

Heads up by Young to tag.

Heads down by Laggy to not.

Two outs. That's OK, Davis is up.... NOPE, they fear him too much and he gets the free base.

GO WILMER!
