ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 How about flipping Nieuwie and Byrd..To Josh Satin...Ike makes more money than you..sorry dude...
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Byrd between Ike & Nieuwy keeps the LHBs separated. As for Ike over Satin, it's not just the money. You don't want to bring Ike back just to sit him so, for a while anyway, I think he'll be in there every day vs RHPs and some days against Lefties. Eyebrows will get his ABs; at 1B, maybe at 2B or 3B, PH-ing, and maybe in an OF spot.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Apparently Marcum requested Buck, hence the change in lineup (was originally Recker)Always makes me nervous when i see "Mets Lineup - UPDATED"
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Shaun Marcum, 1 and 9 with a 5.03 ERA, can request his own catcher? Hey Shawn, F OFF. Who the hell is he to request a catcher? He's lucky to be employed in the major leagues.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 I'll disagree bmfc1. If it's the difference between Marcum sucking and pitching passably, I think it's a good move to go with his catcher of choice.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Marcum should be choosing between Francisco Pena and Juan Centeno.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 Have seen Gallardo's name in the trade rumor twitterverse of late..He looks really sharp..Throws harder than I realized...
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 So Mets down 3-0 in the third. Marcum [crossout:22prkcwm]looks[/crossout:22prkcwm],sounds like he dont have nuthin.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 His gopher ball is working. Lucroy hits one into the second deck for a 4-0 lead.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 They keep throwing Marcum out every fifth day with little success....
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Imagine how bad he would have been with Recker catching.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 More yelling about Buck. Drives in 2 in the 6th with a single.Down by a run, 5-4.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 That was a lot of yelling there. A guy scores from 1st on a bunt? Marcum scores a trip to the showers.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Ike, be bold and mighty forces will come to your aide.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Milwaukee's radio guy sounds like that dude from Mr. Belvedere.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Logan Shafer. You can Kiss my giant yellow ass.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Milwaukee's radio guy sounds like that dude from Mr. Belvedere.I listened to him for less than a minute. He was awful. He's become a caricature of himself. I don't think he cared anything about what he said, just how he said it.Down 7-5 in the 8th. Comeback time
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Gotta be Jordany's last AB for awhile.
