G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Mets going with their Young second baseman.Eric Young, Jr 2BJuan Lagares CFDavid Wright 3BMarlon Byrd RFJosh Satin 1BAndrew Brown LFAnthony Recker COmar Quintanilla SSJeremy Hefner RHP
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Quint gets a bucketful of hits yesterday while the bats were mostly silent... and he gets rewarded by getting to bat eighth behind ReckerBut yeah, I salute it also. It'll be fun to see if Young plays second base positioned 50 feet into the outfield.

Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Keith looks like he shaved with a broken Scotch bottle.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2013 Author Posted July 2, 2013 I do not have the Snakes lineup..
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Tonight's 1st inning considerably quicker than last night's.And Keith started early tonight with the not listening thing. Not ten seconds after Gary talked about Goldschmidt striking out four times after his 1st inning HR, Keith announced the four K night as if it was previously unmentioned news.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Hefner fighting the Cy Young candidate to a standstill.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Buck me? Buck YOU!Recker Kabooms the Mets to a 1-0 lead.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Alll respect for Laggy, but the scoring convention that calls that a double makes no sense.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 6th already. jeeze. I ove MLBTV has a collection of replays for me. We have REckers kaboom,Byrds diving catch?(WOW, thats a Dykstra. He can do that too!? Lets keep him),Wrights catch (ohh, Brooksy)Oh Laggy. There's also a replay of the drive for donations. Classy.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 D'backs had a double on a misjudgment by Lagares an inning earleir.Diving catches from Dykstra were almost always faked. He'd reach a ball running and just skip the last step as he caught it to make it look like a dive.Rough inning for Lagares but he's pretty awesome.

To the left and right is hard enough. Diving headfirst into a liner is like nutz. I like it
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 He wasn't diving; he was falling with style.Meanwhile two in scoring position on a wet track.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Nice Byrd! Now lets score and call it. Lets Go Josh.
