Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Considering the amount of money spent in the last decade on relatively unreliable closers, I'd say the notion that we may have developed a homegrown one is pretty damn nice. That may be some serious dough and not a small amount of mental energy going in a different direction over the next few years.

So it's down there with "Wright's still awesome" on my list of good news. But having an actual trustworthy option the bullpen IS very nice.
