Circumstances (trade, injuries etc) thrust him into a bigger role than imagined for him and he kicks ass most of the time, but also has his share of horror shows (like every reliever ever).

Has a Parnellian year. Eye-popping stuff, but struggles to consistently put it together. Looks better in lesser roles and worse in higher-profile ones, which shouldn't matter, but it works out that way sometimes.

2-3, 3.81, 57 IP.

1-3, 4.5, in 35 IP/30 games

He'll start the season with the team, but his control problems will get him sent down when Francisco comes back, or sometime later.
