Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Today is Ralph Kiner's 90th birthday!Also celebrating birthdays today: Pumpsie Green, 79; Gil Flores, 60; Tom Nieto, 52; Jon Niese and Pedro Beato, 26; Ruben Tejada, 23.Today is also, of course, the 26th anniversary of the Mets last World Series win. I was 23 at the time. Now, I'm closer to my 75th birthday than I am to the Mets last World Championship.
