Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 So apparently 11 innings into this series there are still no Met footprints on 1st base.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 btw, it was apparently Beltran who, while taking swings for a possible PH spot last night and watching a TV, noticed that Torres may have missed 1st and alerted Matheny who in turn alerted his pitcher - all of which was made possible by the time-delay following Torres's slide into 2nd and the possible injury from that.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 This is a thread? Feels like fall and football..
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Tough to complain about how GiDPs are killing any run scoring chances we do get when:a) all our hits are singlesand most of our outs are grounders anyway. DeScalso over at SS must have about 15 assists already in not yet two full games.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Not that the Cards are killing the ball either, but three different NYM pitchers have now put on the leadoff hitter in six of the seven innings.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Nice catch from Torres. But is it really a nice catch if nobody's around to goofy-GIF it?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Making his major league debut -
