Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Nice of them to cough up two runs while I was in the shower.
Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Fire up guys....seriously.It;s not enough they're deficient in so many areas, now they've lost their grit.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Between the two early HRs, the hitters' park environment, and the 'eh' pitcher the Snakes were throwing out there, I though this was going to be one of those nights where we'd hit enough to at least be in it at the end despite any early deficit.Instead, following Wright's 3rd inning/still no outs HR, NYM bats got all of two balls out of the infield for the rest of the game as 10 ground-outs, 7 strike-outs, and an infield liner made up the rest of the game interrupted only by Tejada's infield single, two walks, and two fly-outs.As some basketball player said one time; "Whoop-de-damn-do"
Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 This is officially my most hated Met game ever. More than the Gambler, more than Devastated more than Yadier Molina. Sorry for being so cryptic. Im not attention-whoring. Im just butthurt and need to vent.(and in case you're wondering there was no gambling involved).
