Josh Edgin got those Heath Bell thighs.

This only adds to his appeal for me. Give him a Fu Manchu and a sense of humor and continued effectiveness, and I'm in love.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or was Thole setting up, like, a foot outside the strike zone for Diaz?

It's all in the lesson. Teach him to pitch pathetically around a guy and eventually he'll work his way up to a more subtle pitcharound.

I'm jumping on the Edgin bandwagon. Does he have a bandwagon?

Thank you Tejada!!! Fuck you Reyes.

Really? Why? because he went somewhere that wanted to pay him?

Tejada is better for the money...Reyes is a slacking bum.

Does now! He'd be great with Street.

Leavin' him in to face Diaz. Geren's call or Terry working from an undisclosed location?

Terry called from Applebees.

So... from a look at the crowd, I'm guessing that today was Popped-Polo-Collar/Titleist-Visor giveaway day at Turner?

On that Valdespin catch/trap fiasco, I don't know what the rule is, but maybe the lead runner Prado had the right to rely on the botched "out" call. If so, then Prado rightfully believed that he was obligated to return to first base, and couldn't stop on second base. It's not fair to require Prado to determine which of two irreconcilable and simultaneous calls is the right one. Maybe Prado never even saw the "fair ball" call.

I always forget how much I hate the tomahawk chop until I hear it again.

Yup to the tomahawk chop.

Also, how is every booth of every team on the road the "Peeless Boilers Broadcast Booth"?

The plaque is magnetic, rather than affixed with a permanent adhesive.

Torres looks like the best hitter on this team except when he doesn't.

It should be the "Bob Murphy Broadcast Booth, brought to you by Peerless Boilers."

Seems obvious, doesn't it? And it would probably be a better association for Peerless.

Good point, Edgy. Instead of being annoyed or ignoring the mention, we'd think nice thoughts of Bob Murphy and Peerless would benefit.

BTW, it's "Peerless"--your wrote "Peeless." That's an entirely different product.

What an at bat by Tejada. What a good piece of hitting. That's a big run.

Tejada's Alfonzoness only gets stronger in the late innings, doesn't it?

Send Varvaro to the glue factory, 'Spin.
