Tex error at a bad time.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Watched a few innings on YES but got tired of the brainless chatter.Switched to ESPN, also showing MFYs/Rays. Though I would mostly describe it as a glorified commercial for the Home Run Derby.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 How did you spend your Mets day off? Cameron Maybin spent his this way..Helped the Padres beat the Diamondbacks, 6-2.In games with more local signif:the Cubs beat the Braves, 4-1 (yay!),the Brews beat the Marlins, 6-5 (yay!).A buncha teams with wild card hopes beat a buncha other teams with wild card hopes, so it's kinda hard to sort out a rooting interest in that regard. Cincinnati returned to the league-wide business of sinking the S.S. Dodger.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Marlins lost as well (to Brews).Pretty nice night all around for an off day.

This is either a broad survey or they're aware of a dislike for Buck/McCarver Berman..

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 You see that swing? That was one perfectly struck ball. Mantlesque.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Chase field really seems to yield some long ones. Here's a 30 foot shorter one, that's still completely massacre'd, but Beltran.http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=21267169&c_id=mlb
