Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I was fourth row on the leftfield spot just at the corner where the seats curve around to meet the foul line. A few rows behind the ballgirl.I didn't mind Hairston there, by the way. He was subbing in for the guy he platoons with, we had him matched up against a lefty --- which there was no guarantee of if they pinch-hit him for somebody later, and if we put together any late rally at all, he'd've gotten a second plate appearance. He didn't do anything, though.Kirk still isn't really a big-league hitter vs. lefties. I suppose you can pinch-hit Rottino there and save Hairston for an RBI situation, but there's no guarantee you get him up there against a lefty if one arises. Just didn't work out.
