Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Following him all year, I've been. Listening to a lot of Elvin Bishop, too.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 AAA stats don't necessarily mean anything at the MLB level. But, given the late inning fuck-ups lately, it's about time we had some new young blood.Beato soon...Mejia possibly eventually...If they're going to blow games late, I'd rather see youngsters gaining experience while doing it.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Yeah, AAA stats don't mean much, necessarily. But the peripherals-- especially the K/9 and HR/9 numbers-- are trending in the right direction as he moves up. And wouldn't you rather have someone who did WELL in the minors than, say, Egbert, or Carson?
