Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Signed to a minor league contract and assigned to Buffalo, along with JCL Fantasy Fave Fred Lewis.Emaus was playing independent ball. Lewis was released by the seriously, I just used a racist word when I really meant "Guardians" this spring.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Can we vote for him again for the All-Star team?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Buffalo fans may like him, anyways-- he went .313/.389/.564 with 21 XBH (9 HR!) in less than 200 PA at totally-neutral-playing-environment Colorado Springs (AAA-Colorado).I, too, like the Lewis pickup. But then, I, too, may be former-fantasy-player biased.

Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I hope Emaus learnt the subtle art of fielding while he was away because from what I saw during his brief stint, he's less capable at 2nd than Muffy.

Hefner is out of the Padre's system and working out pretty well for us.We have a pretty broad range of backgrounds up there. Lewis spent a long time in the Reds system. Scales in the Cubs system. I just think it's pretty cool to still be scouting and signing wayward professionals after the season has begun.
