nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 congrats on your 602nd save, shmuck.I'm just posting because i'm watching Giants-Rams and the little halftime news blurb included the news that Rivera now holds the save record. Berman called him a hall of famer (ok, fine) but then went on to say "and a hall of fame person" what??? does ESPN not remember DEAD PEOPLE IN HIS ELECTRIFIED POOL??? I understand thats not the story today but could you at least gush over his career without calling him a great person?

You can call him the greatest ever if you want I suppose, but maybe if you do, do it because you looked at the numbers, not because you're parroting ESPN.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Is it really such a crime to electrify people who are already dead?Nice to see Nymr posting again. Boooo, Mariano Rivera. Donate a few ligaments to Pedro if you're such a team guy, hotshot.
