Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Back home after a week in NY and I miss the dopey ass SNY ads and updates from the studio. Quality on mlb.com is great but the empty spaces between half innings are quite boring (though, I'm sure they'd be more appreciated if I was watching any other team's broadcast).Dodgers not quite as sharp tonight as the Mets.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Soupy, Soup Sr. and Soup Jr. are at this game, according to The Facebook.

You just get the crowd noise. Surprised MLB doesn't have an advertising deal specifically for that space.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I wonder if they brought the douchebag neighbors.Thank you, James Loney, for setting up that homer.Yeah, these Dodgers look like their record, but some credit to the Mets also.

Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 It's about time The Big Glass of Water is pitching inside with authority. Nothing like the other team's hitters being uncomfortable at the plate.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Yeah dumb to hit Miles and get this all started.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Even if he gets out of this here it's like 15-20 extra pitches all on account of the HBP.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I look at it this way: Think of all the healing Jos Reyes has done during this inning.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Pagan's glove (and wheels) may have been more valuable than Beltran's bat thus far in this game.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Meanwhile, if you're that guy at the casino hotel who locks himself out in his bathrobe and you have that girl in the purple dress outside your door ... would the lack of a key really prevent you from getting back in?I'd knock that fuckin' thing down my fist.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 We might have ourselves a hitter here in left field. Is that Mary Hart behind home plate, to the viewer right?
