I was thinking that the Mets might want to farm out a pitcher and call up an infielder for a few days while Reyes is recoving. I was wondering who --- Hernandez? Figueroa? Hu? Valdespin? --- and checked the roster to find out that Chin-Lung Hu was on the DL? What for?, I wondered. I did a news search and uncovered a report I had missed.

Hu has yips, leaves Buffalo

By Adam Rubin

Nick Evans rejoins Triple-A Buffalo in Norfolk on Thursday, infielder Chin-lung Hu is leaving the Mets' top affiliate. Hu has experienced throwing yips, which initially surfaced during his time at the major league level. It's expected that Hu will be at the team's complex in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Because the issue continued during his time with Buffalo, Hu was playing sparingly of late, and only at second base. He was demoted May 17 after clearing waivers. Hu, acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers for minor league left-hander Mike Antonini last offseason, hit 1-for-20 with the Mets early this season.

More on the yips.

Especially when his defense is his main asset.

Psychodrama is everywhere.

Who could forget Mackey?

It's not that far off from where can name a team of Mets by the DSM-IV Profile team. Psychological and mental illness are everywhere and hopefully losing their stigma.
