Screw you Verducci, you MFY loving hack. Stop fantasizing about Jeter and see that the NL MVP is Jose Reyes. Also, how can Terry not be in the top 3 for Manager of the Year unless you haven't been paying attention. Gee at #2 for ROY is OK but Espinosa is hardly a "clear cut frontrunner" at .242 when Gee is 8-1.

I'm surprised Jeter wasn't Verducci's MVP, since you can't begin to put a cap on Jeter's value; Jeter wasn't Verducci's Cy Young, since Jeter saves each of his pitchers two earned runs per game just by his calming influence; Jeter wasn't Verducci's Rookie of the Year, since Jeter is forever young if preternaturally wise; and Jeter wasn't Verducci's Manager of the Year, since nobody manages the demands of immortality better.

Or maybe he was still gagging on that spoonful of cinnamon.

It is a fair article. He says any of the 4 top NL guys would be a fine MVP pick. Espinosa is on track for 30 HR's as a 2B.

One of the articles was raving about how even rain couldn't stop him. (he went into the clubhouse and came back out after it stopped raining) the article made it sound like he was Noah.
