Surprising that hit got through Godfrey.

Meanwhile Caps makes like a wriggle man as he wriggles out of bases-loaded jam to keep it 2-0.

Landon Powell sounds like a soap opera doctor or maybe a co-star with Brock Landers and Chest Rockwell.

Wayne and Howie are talking about how one of the Rangers radio announcers is a big Mets fan. I didn't know that was allowed.

Rangers hockey or Rangers baseball?
The first would be somewhat common, the latter kind of unusual.

Baseball...they were saying how thrilled he was to be able to visit Shea for the last time when the Rangers came in 2008.

Eric Nadel grew up in Brooklyn a Dodgers fan per wiki. He's been with the Rangers since 1979. I have to think the FAN booth was overstating his Mets fandom.

From a blogger's interview: "I rooted for the Brooklyn Dodgers, because I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. But they moved to LA in 1958 when I was 7. I continued rooting for them from long distance. But when the N Y Mets came into existence in 1962, I became a Mets fan and went to a lot of their games. I also went to Yankee games, but rooted against them."

Capuano will be pulled for a pinch-hitter...might be hurt.

Either way, he will wake up tomorrow with an ERA under 4. Not too shabby.

Jose takes advantage of dropped-foul hospitality with an RBI singe.

Is that former Met Chris Clark at first for the A's? I didn't know where he would resurface.

It's Chris Carter ... but not the ex-NYM Chris Carter.
This one is larger, and blacker, ... and gooder.

nope. this is highly touted power hitting prospect Chris CARTER that's on the A's. a black/righty hitting Chris Carter who's ~6'5"/250

I believe Chris "the animal" CARTER is on the braves...
